According to El Espectador, Universal Music in Mexico has set a November 30 release date for METALLICA's "Orgullo, Pasión Y Gloria - Tres Noches En La Ciudad De México" (Pride, Passion And Glory Three Nights In Mexico City) DVD, recorded on June 4, 6 and 7 of this year at Foro Sol, Ciudad de México. The disc will contain 19 songs including the following:

* Creeping Death
* For Whom The Bell Tolls
* Ride The Lightning
* One
* The Memory Remains
* Sad But True
* The Unforgiven
* The Day That Never Comes
* Master Of Puppets
* Nothing Else Matters
* Seek And Destroy
* Enter Sandman

The DVD packaging features work of legendary rock photographer Ross Halfin (LED ZEPPELIN, AC/DC, THE WHO, IRON MAIDEN).

To promote this launch, the first 5,000 people to buy tickets for METALLICA's March 10, 2010 concert in Bogotá, Columbia will have access to the first edition of the DVD.

The band played Mexico City for the first time in a decade in June, with the group keeping the shows on its schedule despite the outbreak of swine flu that originated in the area.

AVENGED SEVENFOLD and a Mexican act called RESORTE served as the opening acts.

Bah ils sont passés deux fois à Paris cette année.
Ils passent dans d'autres villes pour ceux qui ne se sont pas déplacé à Paris ou Nîmes.
C'est cool, ils tâtent un peu de partout.

Bah je pense ils ont du plus faire de dates à Paris que dans toute la province, donc après tous les 6 six mois à Paris relou.

Tout le monde peut en profiter, c'est un des seul groupe a le faire, tant mieux.

Metallica recently announced an early 2010 tour of South and Central America, with the band visiting two cities — Panama City and San Jose, Costa Rica — that it has never played before. The group will also hit Lima, Peru, for what promoters are expecting to be the biggest musical event ever staged in Peruvian history.

The Lima show takes place on January 19, with more South American dates expected to be announced soon.

Image impeccable (c'est fluide, bien filmé (on regrette juste les DIe Die sur creeping qui ne sont pas bien mis en valeur) pour ce qui auront le Blu Ray, j'imagine la claque...

Le son est vraiment très très bon (je vais pas m'eterniser sur la double de lars qui donne une exellente dynamique au live tout de meme, meme si j'ai le sentiment que ça soit un peu "cacher la misère" mais ça passe très bien...

Le livre de 16 pages est en french , l'interview très sympa en haut des Arènes est sous titré egalement ,et on voit des petits bout du concert filmé par les gagants du concours Wormee (pas trop mal mais bon)

Bref un exellent dvd pour cette fin d'année, qui rapelle vraiment cette exellente journée passé avec nos four horsemen pour un concert d'Anthologie

Orgullo, Pasion y Gloria: Tres Noches En La Ciudad de Mexico

In June of this year we were fortunate enough to return to Mexico City for three sold out shows at Foro Sol Stadium and with 155,000 of you there over the three nights, we knew it would be extra special. So we asked our friend Wayne Isham to join us with a film crew and the results of that crazy, magical, most memorable long weekend will be available on DVD and CD starting November 30 as "Orgullo, Pasion y Gloria: Tres Noches En La Ciudad de Mexico" ("Pride, Passion, and Glory: Three Nights in Mexico City").

The DVD's and CD's include songs from all three shows recorded on June 4, 6, and 7. Each show had a unique set list, totaling 34 different songs . . . they're all there on the two DVD set along with interviews with us. Other versions that will be available include one DVD (18 tracks), Blu-ray version of that DVD, a digi-pack with the DVD and two CD's, and finally the aforementioned deluxe version in a slip case with two DVD's and two CD's. Track listings for each configuration can be seen here. In keeping with the local theme, all the credits will be in Spanish (Portuguese for our Brazilian buddies) and will only be available at stores in Latin America. Of course we will also have it in The Official Metallica.com Store, starting sometime the week of December 7.

Most areas of Latin America will have the DVD available on November 30, however if you live in Brazil, check your local music store on December 8 and for fans in Argentina and Chile, "Orgullo, Pasion y Gloria: Tres Noches En La Ciudad de Mexico" hits the stores on December 10.

And of course since we had such an amazing time in Mexico, we can't wait to go back . . . we'll see you in Monterrey and Guadalajara in March. More details on those shows coming very soon!
